Who are the members of OMA? |

Our members include healthcare professionals who provide medical care in environments outside of the hospital and often outside of standard emergency medical care provided by local EMS agencies. These environments involve tactical law enforcement operations, urban search and rescue operations, water rescue operations, dive operations, medical support to explosive ordnance disposal teams and hazardous materials teams, wilderness environments, mass gathering events, flight operations, fireground operations, and medical direction of EMTs and paramedics operating with these specialty teams. Many, but not all of our physician members specialize in emergency medicine. Some of our members are law enforcement officers in addition to their healthcare training.
